Matlin named Memorial Health Chief Strategy Officer

Springfield. IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – Sarah Matlin has been named senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Memorial Health.

Matlin will help guide the strategic direction of Memorial, which includes five hospitals, primary and urgent care clinics, behavioral health and home health services across central Illinois.

She is the founder and CEO of OKTO Strategic Advisory, which works to transform healthcare organizations through innovation. She previously served as chief strategy officer at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, an independent health system based in northern Kentucky.

She has a bachelor’s degree in international business, economics and German from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and a master’s degree in business administration from Solvay Business School in Brussels, Belgium.

“Sarah has a wealth of experience in forging strategic direction for healthcare organizations while making sure they stay focused on what’s truly important: the well-being of our patients and communities,” said Mandy Eaton, Memorial Health president and CEO. “She will bring us the expertise and vision we need to transform how we serve our region.”
